Note - when you contact us as a first time buyer, we will send you a short questionnaire to make sure your farm and our goats will be a good fit. We ask nothing more then a good dog breeder would.
---
In order to keep our numbers down, we will usually only be retaining one or two kids a year. Prices and breedings without reservations are subject to change.
A $50 discount is offered to proven show/linear appraising homes. If you have not shown/linear appraised, but plan to, a $50 rebate will be given upon proof of showing/linear appraising.

First | Spring 2011 |
Does: $300 Wethers*: $125** |
Since I have some minor concerns about Cassi, I would recommend these kids to a milking home, or someone that doesn't mind experimenting. |
| *Bucks will not be retained or sold from this breeding. All buck kids from this breeding will be castrated and sold as wethers. Wethers
make great pets and good companion animals. They don't stink like a buck,
or have the buckish habits, and are less expensive then a doe. Reservations
are accepted on wethers. Wethers are not sent to new homes until 12 weeks
of age assuring you a healthy and well-started pet. We will send you
home with a bottle baby or weaned; whichever you prefer. A wether
purchased from us also comes with hoof trimmers, care guides, and a bit of
hay to get you started. A
wether will be your best friend! All wethers are $125. **Discount available to qualified homes. Pricing Please note - we will only sell doelings to show homes that we would show ourselves! Any doe kid born that is NOT show quality would be placed in a milker/brood home, not pawned off on some unsuspecting buyer. That said, we cannot guarantee how the doeling will mature, or how her mammary system will develop. Nor can we guarantee height. Happy customers is our second priority (right behind happy animals, of course!), so we will do our best to get you the right kid for your program. See below for information on bucklings. Coloring of the coat/eyes will not effect pricing, however udder attachments, milkability, LA scores, and show wins will! A $50 discount is offered to show/linear appraising homes! Doelings from first fresheners will range from $400 to $475, depending on if the doe has her Jr. Leg and if the buck she is bred to is proven. Doelings from second fresheners are generally $500 to $525. depending on show wins/LA scores and if the buck she is bred to is proven. Doelings from unfinished mature does are $550, but may be slightly higher if the doe has a littermate that has finished/appraised 90 or higher. Doelings from finished champions/does that have appraised 90 or higher are $700 to $850 if the breeding has not yet produced finished champions/animals with LA scores 90 or higher. If the breeding has produced finished champions/animals with LA scores of 90 or higher they are $950 and up. Bucklings are sold Private Treaty only and are only available to select homes. Only the best of the best will be sold as bucks. Their prices are generally the same. Here at Algedi Farm we feel very strongly in selling only the best for herd sires that we would use ourselves. Any buckling listed for sale will not be castrated if he doesn't sell, instead he will be added to our breeding program, then sold as a proven herd sire at a later date (unless we can no longer part with him!). We feel so strongly about improving the breed, we'd love for you to ask us about our buck guarantee. Because we know adding a buck is an important decision we will be happy to answer any questions honestly and to the best of our knowledge. Bucklings will only be sold to approved, screened homes.

Sales Policy Reservations on an upcoming kidding require a $50 deposit. Deposits are only taken once all does are bred. Kids are sold to approved homes only. Only three doeling reservations will be taken per doe, and slots fill up fast so we advise getting your deposit in promptly. Reservations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. In the event two deposits for the same breeding arrive on the same day a 'lottery' will be held. The kid MUST be paid for by six weeks old, or a $100 late fee applies. If the kid is still not paid in full by the time it is eight weeks old, it will be put back up for sale and any deposit/payments will be forfeited. Payment plans available. In the unlikely event that a reserved kid dies prior to leaving Algedi Farm the buyer may choose to have the deposit refunded or placed on another kid. Kids will not be shipped prior to 12 weeks of age. Shipping is through Medford, OR Airport, shipping to the southern states requires us to leave our home at 3AM, so a $75 handling fee applies. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including the cost of the crate (size 300 required), vet exam, and any health certificates that may be required. Delivery to shows we are attending is available for no charge. All sales are final. Algedi Farm reserves the right to cancel a reservation (deposit would be refunded.) Animals are guaranteed healthy at time of pick up / shipping.
